Three different things get called a photobooth, and they produce three very different nights. Here's how to pick the one you actually want.
A print booth gives your guests something physical to take home, and a duplicate for a guest book. It's the traditional version and the one older guests engage with most — the strip in a hand is the whole appeal.
A social booth skips the printer and sends photos straight to phones by text or email. It's faster per guest, so queues move; the pictures actually get shared; and there's no pile of abandoned strips on a table at the end of the night. Weaker as a keepsake, much stronger as reach.
A 360 booth is a raised platform with a camera arm that rotates around your guests, producing a short slow-motion video. It draws a bigger crowd than either still booth because it's as fun to watch as to use — but each turn takes longer, so it serves fewer people over the night.

Every format comes with an attendant. Unstaffed booths jam, run out of paper, and drift out of focus — and nobody at your wedding should be troubleshooting a printer.
They need floor space and power, and where they're placed matters more than couples expect. Too close to the dance floor and the queue eats the floor; too far and nobody finds it. We'd rather site it with your venue in advance than guess on the day.
Backdrops, custom overlays with your names and date, and props are all part of it. And the whole gallery comes back to you afterwards, not just what got printed on the night.
Print gives guests a physical strip on the night. Social sends the photo to their phone instantly. Print is the better keepsake; social gets shared far more and moves queues faster.
If you want a spectacle, yes — it pulls a crowd because it's fun to watch. It serves fewer guests per hour than a still booth, so some couples run a 360 alongside a print booth.
