A room that scales,
and a quote that should too

Addison Park seats anywhere from seventy-five to eight hundred. That is an enormous range for one venue, and it is the single most important thing to settle before anyone quotes you. A system specified for two hundred in a cocktail lounge is not the same system as eight hundred in the main ballroom — not the speaker count, not the placement, not the labour.

We have played two weddings here, in 2024 and 2025. What that buys you is not mystique; it is that we have already seen how the room behaves with a crowd in it, and we quote to the configuration you have actually booked rather than to a package.

If a company gives you one price for “Addison Park” without asking which space and how many guests, they are either guessing high or planning to come up short.

The outdoor ceremony
is its own event

Addison Park puts ceremonies outside, and an outdoor ceremony is a second setup, not an extension of the first. Open air has nothing to reflect off, so a system that fills a ballroom sounds thin on a lawn, and wind moves sound away from your guests and straight into the officiant's microphone.

Our rule here is the same one we apply anywhere with an outdoor ceremony: the ceremony gets its own speakers and its own operator. Nothing is carried out from the reception and set up in the gap, because that gap is exactly when your photographer wants the room empty and your guests are already arriving.

Route 35 frontage also means ambient road noise during a quiet vow exchange. That is a microphone choice, not a volume choice.

What we bring
to this room

A written timeline shared with Addison Park and your photographer before the date, so all three of us are working from the same document. Pronunciation confirmed on every name in the introductions. Ceremony sound as a separate rig. Confirmation in writing from the venue on sound curfew and whether cold sparklers are permitted in your space — that is the venue's decision, not ours, and it varies by room.

The family that runs this venue runs it tightly. Showing up knowing the load-in and not needing to be managed is most of what a venue wants from a DJ, and it is most of what makes your day run quietly.

Questions couples ask

Which space are we actually in?

Addison Park runs several spaces across a 75-to-800 guest range, and the specification changes completely between them. Tell us the room and the headcount and we will quote that, not a package.

Our ceremony is outside. Does that cost more?

It is a second setup with its own speakers and its own operator, so yes, it is a real line on the quote rather than something absorbed. We would rather show it to you than hide it and under-deliver on the lawn.

Have you worked Addison Park before?

Twice, for weddings in 2024 and 2025. We know the load-in and how the main room behaves with a full crowd.

Are cold sparklers allowed here?

That is the venue's call and it can vary by space. We ask them in writing and confirm it before it goes in your proposal, never after.
