Six ballroom spaces that reconfigure from ten guests to a thousand, inside a working hotel. The room you end up with is a decision, not a given.
Nicotra's runs six ballroom spaces that can be combined or divided to make the room you need, anywhere from ten guests to a thousand. That flexibility is genuinely useful and it makes the specification a real question rather than a formality.
A hundred guests in one section and six hundred across a combined room are not the same event with a different number attached. They need different systems, different lighting counts and a different touch on the microphone. We quote to the configuration you have actually booked.
Movable walls also matter acoustically. An air wall is not a real wall — low frequency passes through it far more readily than speech does. When another event is running the other side of one, aiming and bass control are what keep the two apart, not volume.
Nicotra's sits inside the Hilton Garden Inn, with 198 rooms above it. For a wedding that solves a real problem: guests who are staying put do not need to leave when the taxi situation gets difficult, and the night tends to run longer and looser as a result.
It also changes the end of the evening. Where guests are upstairs rather than travelling, the after-party question becomes practical rather than theoretical — worth deciding early, because moving a party to a second space works when it is planned and badly when it is improvised at midnight.
A working hotel means load-in shares doors and lifts with hotel operations. We plan setup around the venue's actual schedule rather than turning up and negotiating for access.
We work Nicotra's for weddings, engagement parties and first birthdays alike, and the room takes corporate work too. The building is set up for it — which is worth knowing if you are planning something that is not a wedding and want the production to be the same standard.

Anywhere from about ten guests to a thousand — the six spaces combine and divide. We quote to the configuration you've actually booked rather than a standard package.
Air walls stop speech far better than they stop bass, so it comes down to aiming and low-frequency control rather than running quietly. We orient into your room, not at the partition.
Usually for the better. Guests who don't have to travel home tend to stay later, and it makes an after-party a practical decision worth making early.
Yes — engagement parties, first birthdays, corporate nights. The building is set up for all of it.
Yes - it's a room we've worked more than once, so load-in and setup are known quantities rather than something solved on the day.

Also considering somewhere else? These are rooms we work regularly.
